The Challenge
The primary challenge faced by Clínica de Las Américas was that within its infrastructure and centers, they did not have a high-tech medical imaging solution, which made certain activities difficult to perform. Additionally, Clínica de Las Américas was looking for a provider who could offer solutions for both cardiology and pathology, giving physicians from various specialties the opportunity to have state-of-the-art tools that would enable them to make more precise diagnoses.
One of the challenges for IMEXHS with Clínica de Las Américas was to change the radiology solution without interrupting the service.
Why IMEXHS?
IMEXHS addressed these needs by reducing infrastructure costs through the use of fully cloud-based platforms that are accessible from any device and location. With a multi-tenant architecture and role management, the solution guarantees secure handling of information.
The solution also incorporates CR and Flat Panel (DR) equipment, a DICOM CD recorder with web viewer, as well as a patient and referring physician portal for delivering patient results, centralized teleradiology, and HIS integration via KPIs. Additional features include real-time control, unlimited total studies processed, web-based software technology, a voice recognition system ("Speech Anywhere - WEB [Superior]"), and support for all modalities.
