IMEXHS’s disruptive technology enables best practice medical care and access to the tools and processes doctors and patients around the globe urgently require.

Founded in 2012 by two radiologists and two software engineers, IMEXHS was developed to solve two pervasive issues in global healthcare: the prohibitive cost of care and the need for access to modern technology.

Teleradiology forms the core of IMEXHS’s AQUILA™ platform which is a fully web-based, multi-modal solution delivered to more than 200 customers across 15 countries.

IMEXHS’s growth has been underpinned by high levels of recurring revenue, high customer retention and the successful displacement of major competitors. The global medical imaging market is a multi-billion dollar industry and IMEXHS has multiple runways for growth as it expands into new markets and new medical imaging verticals.

    Non-Executive Chairman
    • Mr Flynn is an experienced international business leader, having run multiple companies in Europe and Australia. As an executive, Mr Flynn has broad business knowledge in manufacturing and mining services (ICI), business services, (Rentokil Initial), media (NewsCorp) and advertising and marketing services (Aegis Group).

      He also has experience in non-executive roles in media (West Australian Newspapers, Seven West Media, and APN Outdoor), technology infrastructure (NextDC) and human services (Konekt Limited). In the UK Mr Flynn successively ran News International plc, Aegis Group plc and Rentokil Initial plc. Mr Flynn is also chair of NextDC Ltd.

    Non-Executive Director
    • Mr Palacio is an entrepreneur with more than 27 years of experience in international IT, telecommunications, and strategic management. Mr Palacio is currently CEO of CrossPoint Telecommunications, a provider of managed IT services that specialises in creating and managing IT solutions for multinational organisations.

      He holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with a specialisation in telecommunications from the University of Technology Sydney, a master’s degree in administration from Macquarie University and a master’s degree in business administration from Macquarie University.

    Non-Executive Director
    • Mr Lingard is a radiologist and nuclear medicine doctor with extensive experience, who has worked in various leadership positions in Auckland, Washington DC and Sydney. In Australia, Mr Lingard co-founded Pittwater Radiology Partners, a company that after a series of mergers and acquisitions listed on the ASX in mid-2000 and became Medical Imaging Australasia Ltd.

      He holds a medical degree from MB.ChB from the University of Otago. Mr Lingard is currently a member of the Radiologists Association of Royal Australia & New Zealand, a Senior Associate of FinSIA, and a member of the Australian Institute and a member of the Australian Institute of Business Directors.

    Non-Executive  Director
    • Mr Banks is a proven business leader with experience in the development and profitable expansion of businesses across health, employment, and banking with a focus on financial management, technology, and people. Mr Banks also has a strong track record in customer focused culture development, and considerable M&A experience. His most recent executive role was as Managing Director and CEO of Konekt Ltd, a technology focussed health and employment company. He led Konekt from its listing on ASX in 2012 through to its successful sale to private equity in December 2019. Prior to this Mr Banks worked in several leadership positions with Westpac Banking Corporation.

      Mr Banks currently holds directorship roles with Boom Logistics Ltd and RPM Automative Group Ltd.

    CEO and Managing Director
    • Dr Arango has over 17 years’ experience as a practicing Radiologist in Colombia. Dr. Arango completed a fellowship in Diagnostic Neuroradiology at McGill University, Montreal, Canada, holds a degree in Medicine and Surgery from Universidad El Bosque, with residency in Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging from Universidad de La Sabana, and a visiting fellowship in Neuroradiology from Medical College of Georgia, granted by SILAN.

      Dr. Arango is a renowned person in the academic environment having being professor of Neuroradiology for the Radiology, Neurology, Neurosurgery and Maxillofacial surgery residency programs of the main universities in Colombia.

    Mr. Doug Flynn

    • Doug is an experienced international business leader. He has run businesses and companies in Europe, Australia. As an executive he has broad business experience in manufacturing and mining services (ICI), business services, (Rentokil Initial), media (NewsCorp) and advertising and marketing services (Aegis Group).       He ran successively News International plc, Aegis Group plc and Rentokil Initial plc all based in the UK. Over the decade and a half he ran these UK plcs he lead the re-organisation of the businesses to improve effectiveness. He took costs out in each organisation and was effective in driving organic growth. Aegis Group for example consistently achieved the highest organic growth of the major players in the sector. Mr Flynn has a good balance of operational, financial and commercial skills and understanding. His strongest attributes remain his people skills and leadership.

    Mr. Carlos Palacio
    Non-Executive Director
    • Mr Palacio is an entrepreneur with more than 27 years of experience in international IT, telecommunications and strategic management. He is currently CEO of CrossPoint Telecommunications, a provider of managed IT services (MSP) that specializes in creating and managing IT solutions for multinational organizations. Today CrossPoint provides services in 42 countries and employs 54 people in Australia, Singapore and the Philippines.

      Palacio had a long career at Nokia, where he held various positions such as regional network administrator, principal specialist and architect, technology advisor in mergers and acquisitions, design and planning of global networks and director of global programs. Throughout his career at Nokia, he worked in venues in Australia, Singapore and Finland, but mostly in Australia.

      Mr Palacio holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with a specialization in telecommunications from the University of Technology Sydney (Sydney, Australia), a master’s degree in administration from Macquarie University (Sydney, Australia), a master’s degree in business administration from Macquarie University (Sydney, Australia), and has completed multiple technology and management development courses.

    Dr. Doug Lingard
    Non-Executive Director
    • Dr Douglas Lingard is a radiologist and nuclear medicine doctor with extensive experience, who has worked in various leadership positions in Auckland, Washington DC and Sydney. By this point, he would have become the largest provider of radiology services in Australia and a major provider of imaging diagnostics to the NHS in the United Kingdom. In mid-2004, MCA was acquired by DCA Group Ltd for $ 700 million to become one of the largest radiology companies in the world, and the leading practice in Australia known as I-Med.

      Lingard holds a medical degree from MB.ChB from the University of Otago (Dunedin, New Zealand), and was a member of the National Institutes of Health in Washington DC. He is currently a member of the Radiologists Association of Royal Australia & New Zeland, a Senior Associate of FinSIA and a member of the Australian Institute of Business Directors. He is currently the founder and president of the Mito Foundation, the most important charity in Australia for people with mitochondrial disease
      .

    Dr. German Arango
    CEO and Managing Director
    • Dr Arango is the CEO and co-founder of IMEXHS and has over 12 years’ experience as a practicing Radiologist in Colombia. Dr Arango is currently the Ex-Chair Staff Radiologist, Neuroradiology at Mederi – Hospital Universitario Mayor, Bogota Colombia and Chair Radiologist and shareholder of UT Imagenes Diagnosticas La Misericordia, Barranquilla Colombia and has practiced as a Radiologist in various hospitals and clinics in Colombia.

      Dr Arango was the Associate Professor of Diagnostic Neuroradiology for the neurology and neurosurgery residency programs for Universidad El Rosario at Mederi – Hospital Universitario Mayor from 2010 to 2017 and has been held various Associate Professor of Diagnostic Neuroradiology roles for Universidad Militar de Colombia, Fundación Universitaria de Ciencias de la Salud, Universidad Nacional de Colombia and El Bosque University during the period from 2006 to 2012.
