Always improving and evolving to provide state-of-the-art solutions, AQUILA – radiology solution is updated. In this new version 3.5, you can enjoy new or improved features, security fixes and, better compatibility with different devices and tools. In addition, it presents an optimization in the stability of the software, eliminating obsolete functions.

All these updates are aimed at improving the user experience in the long term, ensuring that you can take full advantage of its technology, and positively impacting patients and physicians around the world.

Other new features of this new version are:

VIEWER 5.1

  • Hanging protocols: their objective is to present specific types of studies consistently and reduce the number of manual image organization adjustments made by the radiologist.

Among the benefits of using hanging protocols:

  • It speeds up diagnosis and reduces errors. So, it is not necessary to spend time displaying the images for viewing.
  • It makes it faster to find a particular feature or information by providing a template that displays the images taken for procedures, according to the user’s practice or preference.
  • Multi-monitor: now our web viewer can remember which monitor it was displayed on, automatically linking to it. One of its benefits is that research studies [1] [2] [3] show that, depending on the type of work, multiple heads can increase productivity by 50% to 70%.
  • MPR improvements: physicians can now perform faster and more robust reconstructions.
  • Ability to access AI algorithms: supports IMEXHS A.I. algorithms that aim to support the physician in his diagnostic process, optimize workflow and improve patient care through the application of proprietary and third-party algorithms that offer considerable benefits.
  • IMEXHS A.I TORAX: focuses on 14 chest pathologies, helping physicians interpret studies quickly, giving them more time to focus on complex diagnoses that may arise in their workflow.
  • IMEXHS A.I COVID: helps physicians efficiently interpret COVID pneumonia cases, supporting institutions in general to ease their workload and generate a timely diagnosis that saves lives.
  • IMEXHS A.I LUNG: helps to identify infected regions in the lung parenchyma. Two types of infection severity regions can be marked by the algorithm, the consolidation and ground-glass opacity regions.
  • IMEXHS AI NEURO Powered by Entelai: helps physicians diagnose and interpret conditions such as dementia, multiple sclerosis and classification on brain MRI, reducing time and optimizing workflow.
  • Features:
  • Analysis of brain volume and more than 30 cortical areas.
  • Percentile of the patient in relation to a normative base by age (18 to 80 years old).
  • Segmentation and quantification of hyperintense lesions in FLAIR for the follow-up of patients with Multiple Sclerosis.

Benefits:

o Focus on what is important: IMEXHS A.I has the ability to assist the physician in the imaging process so that he/she can concentrate on complex cases that require his/her specialized attention.

o See beyond the visible: shows the physician the likelihood of injuries or problems that may be present on the medical image but are not easy to interpret.

o Reduced turnaround time: helps reduce imaging time and increases quality and efficiency by signaling serious abnormalities to the physician in real time.

o DICOM image upload and download: now physicians or radiology department staff can upload images they have on CD into our system through our web interface. Giving patients and physicians the benefit of having their medical history images at their fingertips with a single click.o Improved scheduling system: allows administrative staff to see all the schedules of the different sites on the same screen, facilitating decision making. This improvement in the visualization of the schedules helps to prioritize and improve patient care.
