RIMAB is a company formed by a group of radiologists with high academic skills that offers services with the highest quality standards and the most advanced technology. It has a history of more than 8 years providing services to clients such as the National Police Hospital (HOCEN), MedPlus, BlueCare, Colsubsidio, HealthTime and the New Clinic.

RIMAB, in the development of its operations in Mexico, Spain and Colombia required a solution that would allow them to share in an easy and safe way the information of diagnostic images, ensuring quality care in the shortest time possible, always looking to improve the quality of life, both of their employees, as well as their patients. For this reason, RIMAB decided to create and structure an innovative solution that would provide the necessary tools to go one step further and improve its services and results, something that would allow it to continue gaining recognition and an important positioning in the market.

The Challenge

RIMAB required a radiology software that would manage the flow from start to finish, with state-of-the-art technology that would allow them to provide their clients with a solution that would enhance the services they offer: Medical Imaging Services, Radiology Centre Outsourcing and Teleradiology.

There was a need for a cloud-based solution, with visualisation from any device anywhere, and that meets world-class standards to be used in different markets.

With the implementation of our AQUILA-Radiology solution, RIMAB now has the ability to access a world-class radiology solution that is intuitive, flexible, and affordable. Additionally, RIMAB has been able to offer its teleradiology service, which in turn has allowed it to expand and offer its services in other countries.  

AQUILA-Radiology provided access to all the functionalities of a web-based VNA platform, secure cloud storage, viewer, RIS, PACS, business intelligence, artificial intelligence, advanced visualisation, web speech recognition, and patient portal in a single solution. This in turn is accessible from any device, anywhere in the world, and is designed to ensure broad compatibility and interoperability with other technologies.

Implementation

With the objective of establishing immediate user access to the required services, optimising care and controlling the proper use of the Health System, IMEXHS provided its experience and service, showing real time control of the diagnostic imaging service, access and agility in the display of results by the patient, decrease in time and cost reduction by infrastructure.
